Develop. Inspire. Share.

Hello and Welcome!
I am a curriculum designer with a focus in allied health, and health care programs in higher education. I am mindful that my efforts can advance human potential. This refers directly to my influence on a learner through curriculum development, as well as indirectly in how the curriculum prepares the learner for interacting with people in the community.
In health care and allied health, the goal is to help learners achieve workplace readiness at specific milestones, and ultimately by graduation. This includes proficiency for required skill sets and knowledge, as well as competence in effective communication and collaboration with interprofessional teams, and the aptitude to understand, grow from and promote belonging among diverse colleagues and patients with whom they interact. My aspiration is to acquire better design skills and awareness of how to leverage learning theories and design principles in a way that best achieves a meaningful and measurable learning opportunity for learners.

My formal education includes a Bachelor of Science in Speech Hearing Science, a Master's of Science in Organizational Development, and postgraduate work in Organizational Development and Leadership. Additionally, I am a licensed massage therapist with approved provider credentials (NCBMT) for my continuing education courses. My formal education is rather eclectic, but the vibrant experiences along the way have been instrumental to my professional journey.
