Module 1 provides an overview of the foundational concepts to massage therapy, including indications and contraindications, benefits of massage and the therapeutic relationship. This module also covers the concept of stress and its effect on the body if a coping mechanism is not implemented. The review of the foundational concepts supports the development of a Therapeutic Relationship Plan, which will highlight steps for communicating with clients effectively and ultimately sound decision-making in protocol development (Module 2 and the in-person course, which will be hands-on protocols).

I like the idea of the storyboarding process but cannot see the overall vision. It seems like just writing out the steps by slide would be enough. However, I have not developed using an authoring tool, so I expect that after I use the authoring tool I will have better context.

I created my own template in PowerPoint. I wanted the convenience of using the icons that PowerPoint had to provide a basic visual of what would be on each section. This helped me focus more on the alignment, which was more helpful in creating the flow.
