Interactive Module
Reflection
The interactive module is based on the first part of the course description. It prepares learners for the in-person, hands-on portion of the course. The learning objectives are aligned to the following course learning outcomes (below), which are presented on the slide for each associated topic. Learners interact through animation, linking out to resources, or downloading developed content.
-
CLO1: Apply characteristics of the therapeutic relationship for creating a healthy foundation for a client-centered approach.
-
CLO2: Evaluate client health history to determine if massage therapy is indicated or contraindicated for the client's current state of health.
-
CLO3: Describe the emotional, physical, and physiological responses to stress that occur in the body, and the resulting symptoms, to a client in a therapeutic setting.
-
CLO 4: Explain the benefits of massage therapy at an appropriate health literacy level for a client.
iEazy was the authoring tool I used. It is fairly easy to use, but it did take time to figure out. It would be helpful if you could do a voice over within the tool. You have to find and download an App to your mobile phone to record the narration. Then you have to create a file and get it to your computer so you can upload it on to the slide you want. You have to do that for each slide. I would possibly like to try Adobe Captivate, but iEazy looked like the most straightforward.
